Blake and Kaylee’s Surprise Proposal in Little Rock!

Blake and I talked on the phone about him proposing to his girlfriend, Kaylee the very next day. I spent some time that day location scouting in downtown Little Rock and found several amazing spots that would make for a great place to propose to your significant other. Expect a blog post on that in the near future!

Blake ended up deciding on the Clinton Presidential Park Bridge. It has a fantastic view of the Arkansas River and the rest of downtown Little Rock. A great choice!

Blake and Kaylee had dinner at Arthur’s Prime Steakhouse, where he took her for their first date, and then headed over to downtown. I waited out of sight until I saw them approach the bridge. Then, as stealthily as I could, I sprinted up the hill to also get on the bridge. Blake and Kaylee were the only people on the bridge. I could see Blake doing a good job keeping Kaylee on the correct side of the bridge. Kaylee spotted me (my camera was hidden) and was clearly trying to be polite and let me go past. I stopped and pulled my camera from behind my back and she immediately knew what was happening.

The excitement and happiness that she and Blake had was a lot of fun to see and capture. I could tell that this was something that was expected and a surprise at the same time.
